~heyyo~ i got a new phone-o~ and its stylo milo~ haha ok that was crappy.. but the point is that i got a new handphone over the weekend! the new nokia 7260! you know.. the one where everyone dresses in only black, white and red, walkin aimlessly through doors tryin to get out of the pub only to find themselves in another.. yeah that one.. got it for 250 bucks only!! and the fella even threw in a battery, earpiece and DKU pod.. cool bargain!.. too bad black was outta stock so i took the white one.. and 7260 doesnt have bluetooth.. well we cant have everything in this world can we? neway enough about phones alr! i realise my blog is always talkin about handphones haha..
speakin of style and pubs.. went for a walk-in interview at attica bar to work on the floor today.. im really hopin that they'll call.. the pays $7/h, meager considerin the work hours.. but im willing to slog my guts out so long as they give me their staff uniform shirt.. im thinkin that would be so cool haha..
btw for all ya who dont know.. nin pehs birthdays comin soon *hint hint*!! hee..

one week to leave clearance! i am one of the last of my batch to be going off.. most people i know are no longer in camp any more.. so many new faces.. so many changes in training procedure.. i feel so odd suddenly.. so surreal..
looking back .. there were so many things that have happened.. so many people..
there was jordan, roy, mingyang, alex, bobo, fairuz, ong and azhar in leopard.. jackson, tun, yicheng, beng, jimmy, ivan, han boon, chuan seng in charlie.. eddie, gerald, waiseng, andrew, BG, clarence, jin tai, ben at smi.. andrew, azman, saiyan and the lot at 5sir.. francis, mervyn, qiurong, denis, law, fiyaz, kai in jaguar.. so many people.. so many faces.. so many memories.. i cant help but wonder where many of them are today.. what are they doing now? will we ever meet again? or have our paths crossed but only once and never again.. these memories will soon fade.. i will soon forget their names.. their faces.. but the times spent slogging through the dirt.. these will become stories i'll tell my son.. and his son..
i look at myself now.. how am i different from my pre-ns days.. and i realise how much ive grown stronger mentally.. how i have been equipped with skills that will last me through life.. note that i am not writing some national education shit for the government and i still hate the SAF all the same.. but i still thank the fucked up system for making me a better person nonetheless..
sigh.. so much melodrama.. so much passion haha.. a chapter is about to close.. another chapter about to open.. what does the future hold? will i be able to cope with the greater challenges that lie ahead.. only time will tell.. God bless..

i'm taking my last batch of recruits today!!!!!.. after 2 years of people telling me "your time will come, your time will come".. them coming back to sign clearance forms.. waving their irritating pink ic in my face.. the day has finally has come!!!!! well ok.. haha maybe i'm being a little too pre-mature here.. afterall i've still got 75 more days *dripping with sarcasm*
neways surprise surprise! lam zhi longs in my platoon.. hehheh gavins gonna love it! i've got a belated xmas present for him..
anyhoe.. after 2.5 years of crap the SAF has given me.. shiong PT.. days with no food and sleep.. rain beating down my head.. lying in mud.. weekends and holidays burnt.. come 220305 they will be incapable of even telling me to lift a finger.. although i probably still would.. heheh.. just to mock every at everything it stands for..

2004 is no more! behold 2005!
sigh.. time does fly.. with a blink of an eye.. we've lived through another tumultous year.. trials endured, lessons learnt.. joy experienced, success celebrated.. through it all what doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger.. in everything i thank God..
btw wanna know wat i did for new year's ? heehee.. i sat the gmax reverse bungee at clarke quay at the stroke of midnight!! well ok.. it was slightly past midnight la about 12.20am.. frankly it was no kick compared to the lethal weapon rollercoaster ride at movieworld ( i sat it thrice when i was 14 and another three times during my trip to brisbane last month makin it a grand total of 6!) haha.. but the view from above was really fantastic..
i didnt drink a drop of alcohol this new year's celebration too! which is really quite incredible! haha.. it must be one of the most sober new year's eve celebrations ever haha..
neway haven't thought about my new year resolutions yet but came across this adidas ad poster the other day.. when i saw it i was like 'wow!' haha.. i guess i shall make it my creed for the year ahead.. 2005 HUAT AH!
