Wednesday, October 26, 2005 i should really be studying instead of blogging now, but i thought what the heck! haha sianz, exams are coming and i think really must buck up. went to the central library to search for statics and mech books earlier and felt kinda dumb. didnt know ya could borrow books the regular way ( as in like loaning for a few weeks kind) cos always entered from the main entrance and only saw the rbr and closed stack counter. when i asked the librarian for the book and she told me it was in the manshelf and that i could scan it myself, i remarked without thinking, "oh so ya can actually borrow the book back ar?" the look on her face was as if i was a retard man! how paiseh. then she told me it was in the third floor and i ventured for the first time downstairs. always thought it led to some toilet or carpark or something. haiz thats what ya get when ya slack too much and don go to the library often enough. btw kev came to stay over at my place , he's gonna be here till thu so that he can mug, he snores like a pig man, damn bloody loud! went for supper at sheares with him, yeelin, cristel and lorraine last night, ate so much, really feel very fat now. sheares food is the best la, nobody can beat them, even fongseng cannot compare. waffle with choc syrup and honey, chicken naan, cheezy fries, iced milo with whipped cream and hash browns, all the prices are much more reasonable. must devise scheme to poach the ashley couple from sheares to kr somehow!

Saturday, October 22, 2005 was supposed to join the yc peeps at the zouk reopening last night cos karen had sweet vip invites that included a tour of the revamped place. unfortunately due to some misunderstanding the list got misplaced and we couldnt go.. turned out that stayin in was even more fun! played ps games and DDR in the lounge with bry, seb, yunwen and diana.. bry and yunwen had bought this super cool game from town involving stacking stickmen without falling over for only 2 bucks. a little childlike humour and foolery amidst the stresses and troubles of life keeps us all sane and smiling haha..

Thursday, October 06, 2005 blissful sleep is an opiate man.. yawn.. slept so much today! and still wanna sleep somemore! haha.. in a very nua mood today.. ya know one of those days when ya feel completely lethargic and feel that all the energy's been sapped outta ya.. sigh.. i've been feelin like a total zombie lately.. everythings so surreal and i'm jus going through the motion of things without much thought put in.. i swear someone has put weed in my water man haha.. i need a perk me up badly! something to jolt me to life again, something to get me all excited.. like now, my minds seriously floating about not knowing whats going on.. blur is the word.. im jus stoning in front of my laptop bloggin.. gonna do my work later but now im jus stoning..

Sunday, October 02, 2005 watched the news today and was shocked to hear that bali has been hit by terror attacks again.. i feel sad cos i love bali, bali is my favourite island man!.. went there in december last year and had lots of fun! the people there are so friendly and live such simple lives.. why on earth would those terrorist bastards want to wreck chaos there.. furthermore, the people there are mostly hindu.. chilling enough, one of the three bomb blasts occured on jimbaran bay, the place where deb, kev and i had a seafood feast by the beach enjoying the sunset.. i hope these terrorists burn in hell man..

invited the YC peeps over to my place on fri evening, frances had asked if we could hold our monthly rosary session at my place this month so i had said ok. mom bought like heaps of food la haha despite me telling her not to.. in the end even the 15 of us couldnt finish the food so im gonna have to eat mee siam for the weekend.. after fellowship and food, we played drinking games over baileys.. im beginning to like baileys man, it tastes totally like choc milk haha.. then we went to the bak kut teh stall opposite the road for supper before baey came over to bum over at my place for the night with seb this week has been a fun filled week of rugby too! literally trained and played for 5 days straight.. tues: ifg trials, wed: ihg trials, thu: ifg training, fri: played touch with ihg players, sat: ifg engine had quite a strong team this year, with former teammates jesal, anil, leow and ravi, some saints and sji fellas as well as a kiwi sru rugger named mike.. more than half of them have just ended their season in the M1 league.. despite the high standard in the team, and how rusty i was considering that i've only been playin for hwachong alumni hur..hur.., i was pleasantly surprised to make it into the starting 10.. like jes and ravi were sayin, "you've still got it man!" up sia we had a good start thrashin science, sde and law.. then came medicine, we underestimated them thinkin they were easy meat, but with freddy, mark, weisheng, dingyan and shijia, they proved to be tough opponents edging us by a try.. arts, needless to say, beat us in the final match to be the only unbeaten team in the tourney and thus the champions.. lovely weather, good rugby and free beer, how can it be any better?.. had a wonderful time out there today not only playin, but meeting old friends to talk and joke around.. thats what its all about man.. i love this game! |
