Sunday, February 11, 2007 caught jackie chan in one of his a police story films on late night telly earlier. id forgotten how impressive hk movies once were. the effects, mann.. there was this 10 min scene of him under water without a tank fighting off baddies while dodging this shark. well apart from the fact that a kick or punch technically cant hurt a fly under water, and that every detail of the shark sequence was scientically ridiculous, it did well enough to keep my atttention. i do miss the good ol' hk films of yore like the fight back to school series, chinese ghost story, aces goes places.. cant say im canto movie buff but ive had my fair share at nan's place when i was young. also, so this is what i seem like to other ppl eh well i'll be damned, i kinda fancy the fella you make my willie go wild~!

The weather will never stop you. Only nasty defenders on the other team will. Imagine this: Your team’s a goal down and only seconds left. Between you and a shot on goal are 2 clumsy defenders. You know what you have to do – and you know you can do it. You play it in your heads – you’re gonna shift your body weight on one leg, look the other and with the flick of your heels you will scoop the ball over their heads, run around and volley the ball home. The crowd will go crazy, the babes will throw themselves at you and you da man! But in reality, you will start your move, the ball will take a nasty bounce off the uneven pitch, the defenders boot the ball away, your team loses, it’s your fault. You’re a loser! Not at the cage! You can execute all the tricks in your arsenal without worrying about the pitch. Safety is also a big concern to us.
