took a break from mugging earlier to watch this 2hr history channel documentary about the french revolution on youtube. all i can say is WOW! there is so much to learn on the internet these days..
didnt know the french revolution was full of wronged young pretty women.
there was especially this rich chick called charlotte corday. she stabbed marat, this maniacal terrororist who preached violence and who was worshipped by the crazy revolutionaries of that time. when she was about to be guillotined as a murderer and asked for her last words, all she said was "peace".
and then of course theres marie antoinette. well she wasnt actually the wasteful harlot she was made out to be. at 20, in the prime of her life, she was already married to king louis for five years. louis who was a lousy king, was also impotent, so kinda treated marie antoinette coldly. yet marie antoinette never really complained, despite libels spreading of her being a whore. when louis was beheaded, she even wept for him in her cell. yea yea apparently she gambled for three days and three nights when she turned 21, but who could blame her, im sure many have had more extravagent 21sts.

with history, who needs to watch soaps man..
