real pity the internship fell through, i'm gonna miss this place.
but then again i miss home too, so i'm happy either way.

thought i'd just share with everyone an a-z on my experiences here in eindhoven too:
A - Albert Hienz = supermarket chain
B - Bicycles = bicycles outnumber people here
C - C&A = budget clothes store
D - Danku velt = first dutch word i learnt
E - ESRC Elephants = my club
F - the Fuckers who stole my bike
G - Gruze beer = sweet belgian fruit beer
H - Herring = raw fish special to the dutch
I - ICTheek = schools free printing service
J - Janitor Smits = psycho overly-friendly-to-chinese-students-because-he-wants-to-earn-money-from cutting-their-hair-for-five-bucks-thinking-that-all-chinks-are-cheapos-who-don't-really-care-how-their-hair-looks janitor, who probably learnt haircutting from a manual. not all chinks are chinks hokay.. thats why i never cut my hair.
K - Katherina Kirk = the church i attend
L - Lays = everything here is overpriced except lays
M - Marijuana = need i say more?
N - Nua-ness = the weather, the ppl, the culture
O - On the right side of the road, always remember, on the right side.
P - PSV = they won the title when we were here
Q - Queen's day holiday = which is today. i dunno what to put for Q la..
R - Renault = half the cars here are renaults
S - Snow = is not a nice thing
T - Texas Hold'em = gambling is the best form of entertainment
U - Understanding the passion of engineering = the profs here speak about topics, so boring i could kill myself listening, with energy of madmen.
V - Volkswagen = half the cars here are volkswagens, the other half are renaults
W - Wine = is cheaper than coke
X - eXperimental psychology = is rubbish
Y - Young 13 yr old kids trashing us in street soccer. twenty years down the road this will have repercussions. they will tell their kids that chinks suck at soccer and this will become a stereotype. i am sorry, we should never have challenged them.
Z - Ze most expensive stationary in the world
