i sat for my ethics paper today
and there was this essay question:
a) will you sell out your former employers (say company A) secrets to your current employer (say company B)?
b) if you were the boss of company B, would you use corporate secrets from company A given by an employee formerly employed by company A?
well for a.) its clearly wrong, although technically no non-disclosure form was signed so yea.. but anyhow as you would see, its clearly wrong
but for b.) hell, i'd do it in a blink of an eye!
but after the paper, the guys and i had a whole debate on this and i told them "hey there's no right or wrong answer okay so chill" but they were all "but we write what the examiners want us to, both cases are morally wrong"
so thats what really ticked me off, okay a little at least
and the other day,
one of them criticised me for giving an overly agressive presentation just because i used the word "bad" on the other teams design flaws and that i blew up our designs positives too much.
okay i admit, that was not tactful of me, my bad. but com'on how on earth can you blow up your positives too much, com'on seriously?
dont get me wrong, im totally cool with the guys, i mean i love them man, they're a great bunch
what im not cool with is the attitude.
thats exactly whats entirely wrong with the system man
conformity, submission and all that shit
and then they go on about how locals dont get the same perks as foreign talents do
because you are a bunch of yes-men with no mind of your own thats why!
in politics especially, especially in politics.
there was this guy who made an excellent point in the today paper the other day countering the PM's views that bipartisan is not for singapore because that would split the talent. he said quote "if the government were to one day actually fail, there would be no time nor talent then to form an alternative". excellent, kudos to you man, in your face!
okay im being kinda a man bitch here, and its probably unfair to a good many people out there. too much cenk uygers turning me into a hater.
i mean for starters, who am i even to criticise them. but im just saying, im just saying. well you get the point.
