was with sam and the rest at dereks the other night, and liz asked me how it feels like to be graduating, concluding 16 years of basic schooling entering the big ocean. it made me reflect about it for the first time, a little i guess. reflection is good sometimes but its also important to remember that one doesn't trip on the stone behind, its the stone ahead thats important. not to mention when you look back too much, you get a neckache ;)
well for the sake of things, i shall say that im thankful for everything, good and bad all, so cliche..
but seriously, to me, there's really no big deal in graduating. not that im trying to play coy or act cool or anything here, but i mean, when we cross a traffic light on green, do we think much about it? no we dont, we just cross the road, go on to the next traffic light, and wait to cross the next. we dont go like "ahh.. that was a good crossing.." right? hahaha not sure thats a good analogy but yeah, you get what i mean. im not saying that schooling, or in particular university, wasnt special to me, im sure i'll miss it, just as i oddly miss my time in the army. what im saying is life goes on, nobody's head's gonna explode, manna isnt gonna fall from the sky, we still have to get up and do what we have to do tomorrow.
no need to always talk so much about life, when the time comes to "cross a traffic light" haha, we all know deep within ourselves what we have to do, just go in and get the job done. it may be very tough and theres disillusionment at times, but as long as we believe in what we are doing and dont stop walking, we will succeed in God's own way.
