HORSEPLAY
we're midway into cny and the celebrations are just about over.
went up to austin with jeff and stanley yesterday. had trouble at first with the ping G5. but after getting used to it, that thing burns rubber man! scored a 121, which is ok for me la. had wildboar meat after that, kena cheated sia, couldnt tell the diff between wild pork and tamed pork. sometimes i think m'sia has so much more potential than s'pore, just that under inept governance, things are so lousy, otherwise i honestly wouldnt mind reconverting back to malaysian citizenship.
liwei and mingwei invited us down to lunar 2 weekends in a row
opened 7 bottles of top grade liquor, fantastic
the thing about good liquor is that you feel perfectly normal the day after
anw lunar is the best ktv in the world
in the private room you can see the stage performance outside while crooning
its so damn cheesy that its really good
aiyo~.. aiyo~.. maiyo~..
embracing the china roots in me, so you see, its not all bad
then went to zouk on wed for drinks with matthias and some others. i had no idea how badly zouks doing now. we were running up to midnight and the dancefloor at zouk was sparse, save a few mambo kings (dont they know its 2010!). phuture was no better, it was crowded, but nobody was dancing. to make matters worse, the dj blasted the music to make it seem all better. fucking couldnt hear half the things boss was telling me the next day, hmm maybe its a good thing..
ok enough partying, exams are in less than a months time and i dont wanna be wasting dads money. sometimes it can get really tiring, thrice a week after work till 10, 2 to 5 on some saturdays, and i've another 1.5yrs to go. ive sacrificed a great deal for this, such as cut back on tennis sessions, L4D with the church ppl, touch w the guys, things that i much enjoy doing. i just hope it pays of.
another year has past and im 26 alr..
ben's ruckus made me have a passing thought about you
it all seems like something that happened to someone else now.
